Passion. Experience. Diligence.

Background

For nine years, I was the Classical Music Program Director at SiriusXM. I produced special artist-based programming for SiriusXM and for National Public Radio (NPR), Virtuoso Voices and supervised music and news programming at Pubic Radio Stations in California, Texas, Michigan, Louisiana, and North Carolina.

While at SiriusXM, I produced new, exclusive programming with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Yannick Nezet-Seguin and the Philadelphia Orchestra; Yo-Yo Ma, Gil Shaham, Hilary Hahn, Alan Gilbert, Lang Lang, Jonathan Biss, Robert Spano, Valery Gergiev, Leonard Slatkin, The Canadian Brass, Jennifer Higdon, John Luther Adams, the Kronos Quartet and the Imani Winds. Our series, "Living American," presented compositions by living American composers (including recent Immigrant-Citizens).

In 2015. Musical American listed me as one of the most influential music professionals in the performing arts industry.  Musical America 2015 Report: The MA 30 Professionals of the Year: "The Influencers".

I’ve done 500 plus interviews with some of the biggest and most influential artists, rising stars and other creative artists just starting out on their careers.

What I’ve learned

I learned from highly capable performers, conductors and composers who knew what they were doing. They had the gift to know how to tell their stories in interesting, engaging and memorable ways.

I also observed equally talented performers who missed out on important opportunities by not having a clear conception of how to make a strong statement about what they were doing, and more importantly, why what they were doing was important. Is that you?

In that process, I learned how to guide artists in how to best tell their stories and bring them closer to achieving their creative and professional goals.

Long Bios are Gone

The days of long bios devoted to where an artist has performed, the awards they’ve received and their glowing reviews are mostly over. They still have important value for presenters, but I recommend we create a bio for everyone else.

In 2019 and beyond, your audience, and the media at large, want something more: something they can relate to in their own everyday lives.

Building Your Story

Together, we will develop ways for you to create new awareness and excitement for your new recording project, important recitals, funding for a key project and almost any other avenue to advance your career and increase your visibility.

Why Me

One last thing about me, and what sets me apart. This is not public relations. This is personal artist relations. I am not a firm with 30 - 50 clients; they do a fine job. I prefer a smaller circle so I can work one on one with you and with the people who are in a position to enhance your career. That’s the other meaning of what I'm thinking when I say “All Art is Personal.”

I’m ready to talk in more detail when you are.
